Physician graduated from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá and a specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics from Hospital Universitario San Ignacio at the same university. Trained in minimally invasive (laparoscopic) surgery techniques at AMI Brookwood Medical Center and the University of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham.

Certified expert in human reproduction techniques by the Latin American Network of Fertility (RedLara). Laparoscopic and microsurgeon at Profamilia since 1992 and a founding member of Profamilia’s Fertility Unit since June 2003.
